environmental, aesthetic, and recreational value of
Lake George and its watershed.
Objectives
To protect water quality by
maintaining a volunteer water quality monitoring program
promoting stewardship and best practices for lakeside residents
To monitor water level and improve understanding of the hydrology of the lake
To promote safe neighbourhoods and a sense of community
To encourage pride in the history of the Lake George area
To promote safe recreational activities on and around the lake
To network with other lake associations on common concerns
To create awareness of fish and wildlife habitat and what can be done to sustain them
